Warranty Information:

The warranty provided for products during the sale is primarily issued by the manufacturer. This means the warranty service for the sold products is handled by the respective brand’s main company. PCB Store acts as a facilitator to implement the warranty terms provided by the original brands, as per their official websites.

Manufacturer-Defined Warranty Policies:

  1. We follow the international, national, and Bangladesh Computer Samity (BCS) guidelines for warranty policies.
  2. Most products imported by PCB Store come with a warranty that is provided promptly, and certain products are replaced immediately upon receiving a complaint.
  3. Not all sold products come with a warranty. Only products with a declared warranty period from the original company will be eligible for warranty services.
  4. Laptop warranties vary by brand and model, typically ranging from 1-3 years. However, warranties for all laptop batteries and adapters are limited to 1 year.
  5. If a defect is found in a product covered under warranty after the sale, it is repaired to resolve the defect. Depending on the product type, it may also be replaced immediately.
  6. If a specific product model is unavailable for replacement, PCB Store may replace it with another product of the same brand and equivalent value available in stock.
  7. If a specific model cannot be repaired or replaced due to unavailability, a better product may be offered by adjusting depreciation and price differences.
  8. If repair or replacement of a specific product is not possible and PCB Store does not have a replacement available, the value of the product may be refunded after adjusting for depreciation.
  9. PCB Store is not liable for any software or data loss during product use or servicing. Data recovery or software reinstallation is also not the responsibility of PCB Store.
  10. The time required to return a product after servicing under warranty is not fixed. It may range from 5-7 days to a maximum of 35-40 days or more. This depends on the availability of required parts, as most are imported and take significant time to procure.
  11. Most warranty products are not repaired. The defective parts are replaced, which are usually imported from abroad.
  12. The customized computer setup and operating system provided at the time of sale are not covered under warranty.
  13. Lifetime warranty refers to the duration the product remains available in the market. Warranty services will be provided only during this period.
  14. Any service outside the warranty scope may incur charges, subject to customer approval.
  15. For service warranties requiring component replacement or addition, the customer must provide the necessary parts or pay in advance to procure them through PCB Store.
  16. PCB Store is not responsible for any issues arising from free software or hardware tuning provided during or after the warranty period.

Situations Where Warranty May Not Apply or Be Conditional:

  1. Damage due to careless use, such as exposure to water, breaking, burning, impact, or deep scratches, will void the warranty.
  2. If the product’s serial number or serial sticker is partially or completely erased, removed, or damaged, the product will not be covered under warranty.
  3. Motherboards, graphics cards, or RAMs with fungus, rust, deep damage, or scratches will not be covered under warranty.
  4. Motherboards or processors with broken, bent, or deformed pins will not be covered under warranty.
  5. BIOS passwords or security codes applied to laptops, desktops, or other devices at the time of delivery are the customer’s responsibility and are not covered under warranty.
  6. If the native operating system of an Apple MacBook is removed, the product will not be covered under warranty.
  7. Printer cartridges, toner, heads, rollers, drums, and similar components are not covered under warranty.
  8. Using unauthorized ink, cartridges, or toner in printers will void the warranty.
  9. For combo keyboard-mouse sets (sold as a bundle), the entire set must be presented for warranty claims. Individual keyboard or mouse claims are not accepted.
  10. Power adapters for printers, scanners, routers, switches, access points, TV cards, and similar products are not covered under warranty.
  11. If a product stays in the warranty or service department for over 2 months, PCB Store will no longer be responsible for it.
  12. Lost warranty papers for a specific product can be replaced with proof of purchase and appropriate verification.
